Love can be expressed in so many forms.

Love is an art in itself.

Love can be poetry, Love can be color, Love can be music.

Love can be a slight glance or a brush of a hand.

Tonight I want to showcase some of my favorite expressions of love through art.

Psyche Revived by Cupid’s Kiss, Antonio Canova
The passion shines from this statue. The sculpture represents the moment after Cupid has awakened Psyche with a kiss. The sculpture is displayed at the Musée du Louvre in Paris.
The Birth of Venus by Michelangelo
Venus, The Goddess of Love
Loving Couple (Mithuna), Unknown
This sculpture encaptures the joyous gaze they hold as they wrap into each other.
Alfred Eisenstaedt’s The Kiss
Iconic and Moving.

Love can be found everywhere.

In the breeze that blows through the leaves of the trees.

In the bright rays of sunshine that shines upon the dewdrops in the morning.

In the gentle smile of a stranger.

Just as art is all around us, Love is everywhere as well.
