I know I totally missed the bus on #FitnessFriday this week. I could push the post off until next Friday but I figured why wait. Let’s do this! If you follow me on social media then you know I took the day off yesterday so I lost some blogging time – all in good reason though – the day off was needed!
It’s been a journey for me so far this year…my fitness journey in total slow motion. I’m okay with it though. It’s been what I’ve needed. I desperately needed the slow down and I decided where my priorities were going to be. Kind of a cool thing that we have total control over that, right? Don’t take that the wrong way now. I’m not saying that fitness is not a top priority because it totally is. I just needed to put my mind before my body to start. Once my mind was back in calmness I could start adding back in those routines to my schedule. Yesterday’s spa day was a great calming day for my mind (just saying).
I mentioned in a an update post last Sunday that I’ve started intermittent fasting again. It feels awesome. Everyone needs a little bit of a different eating routine. For me, the 16/8 schedule works. It helps control my RA inflammation and I’m already noticing I’m less bloated, more in control of my cravings and have more energy. With more energy, comes more gunction to get back to my feeling fit exercise routine! So without further ado, here are my fave fitness posts of the month:
