I’m a part-time artist hoping to go full time some day. I have a little black bucket list book filled with adventures. I write with the hope to inspire. I can be quite the workaholic sometimes. I’m an INTJ- A. I believe a cup of hot tea can solve almost anything. I embrace perseverance.
I’m here in the blogging world because I believe the buzz about self-care and self-love needs to be heard. I spent a good part of my life putting my needs at the bottom and not truly following the path I desired for my life. I struggled with frustrations on a daily basis, found that I was harboring anger and resentment, and just all around felt drained and uninspired…that was me. I’m here to say you can change that.
Now that doesn’t mean I never have bad days because I do. Being a positive person doesn’t mean you never fall down, it means you get back up. It doesn’t mean that you don’t ever have a negative thought or never get angry. I’ve learned a lot about myself over the last several years, and I’m still learning. I’m learning to put myself first. I’m learning that by taking care of myself makes me a better mother, a better friend, a better daughter, a better me. I want to share the lessons I’ve learned with you, so I created Do Five Things A Day.
