This past week flew by!
Last night I got to have a little down time and got in a bit of a mystery mood (and ate delicious food – off the diet night!) I crossed off two babies on my bucket list last night – rode on a train and attended my first Murder-Mystery Dinner. It was so much fun!
Aside from my fun night out, it’s been a good, productive week – spent a good amount of cleaning and organizing – cleaning out my newly acquired office in Delaware, cleaning out computer files, cleaning the bedrooms and the bathroom deeply. Heat is on and the dust is a-flying, ugh.
Any who, I’m keeping on a roll with getting myself re-organized and getting into a new routine. It feels refreshing!
My Picks of the Week:
CreativeLive Class – With all these goals and new tasks on my plate, I’ve been pretty focused on my personal growth too. I’m feeling super motivated and inspired and I’m riding on those feelings! I’ve been picking up some online classes as I go to continue my growth. This week I took on ‘Connect with Your Customers on Social Media’. The class has 11 lessons with the longest one being 24 minutes which makes it flexible so I can wiggle the lessons into my evenings. It’s free to join CreativeLive and then you just purchase the classes you want to take (which so far they’ve all been on sale!) #alwayslearning #goalgetter
Apres Cold Brew Coffee – Totally digging these! With my busy schedule, grab and go is my style…which leaves me skipping a meal or two many times. These babies have 14g of plant based protein and are delicious! I’ve been throwing them in the freezer and then I let the thaw throughout the morning so they are a great pick-me-up for my afternoons when I’m starting to fade.
What I’m Reading – The other morning I awoke feeling a little overwhelmed – so much flying through my mind – it was spurring my anxiety up a little and I had a busy day ahead. So I curled up and grabbed my copy of The Fire Starter Sessions by Danielle LaPorte. I needed to get my mind realigned for an awesome day and reminding myself of my goals and why I was going after them was the trick I needed. Can’t beat starting a morning with a cup of hot tea and some #mindfulness time!
Young Living Essential Oil of the Week – Purification – I’m a scent person (I’m sure many of us are right?). I love when things smell good! I love stimulating my senses! And with all the cleaning and organizing I’ve been doing (and having a pup…pet smells) I’ve been even more conscious of bringing in that fresh, yummy smell. Purification is fantastic for doing just that. This blend is made up of six essential oils for the ultimate weapon against odors. Citronella, Lavandin, Lemongrass, Rosemary, Myrtle, and Tea Tree work together to create a refreshing, bright scent that keeps you and your family happy and comfortable. I add some drops and some extra lemongrass oil to my diffuser while I’m cleaning and it fills the room with delight.
PicMonkey Photo Editing – Any one else using this program? I love it! It’s a simple program to use plus they have an app that I keep on my phone for quick editing while I’m traveling. Helps me keep my posts going even when I’m on the road. I’ve been having earlier mornings with my new routine and I’ve been catching some incredible sunrises which totally inspire me! A quick crop and sharpen (because my phone camera just doesn’t catch it the way a camera can) and then I can share the inspiration with all my followers too <3
Well another fabulous and beautiful week awaits me! I hope you all have a wonderful week too!!!
