Inspiration is a wonderful and beautiful thing and we can find it in so many places. I began Do Five Things A Day because I wanted to create a place of inspiration, a place that motivates and pushes us to go after our dreams, to create the life that we desire.

Since I started my blog several years ago, I’ve transformed so much into having so much more in my life, and it all started with a change of perception. And it has continued to grow and me along with it.
I was diagnosed with PTSD a little over a year ago. Finally able to understand the nature of many of my instilled habits, I have truly begun a journey of healing. It is not an easy journey. Navigating mental illness and a history of trauma never is. I have always been an advocate of mental wellness and helping others but this has given me new insight into these matters. I try to share my perspective in a way to hopefully help others heal and grow as well.
